About Me

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Sherry Huske. I grew up and still reside in a small town in northern Wisconsin. I've always spent much of my time outdoors. Nature is one of my many passions! I love getting outside as much as possible, exploring and immersing myself in the elements right out my back door! My favorite time is in the early morning when I can enjoy my first cup of coffee along with a hike or a paddle.
I discovered Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure® after struggling with severe back pain for many years. I was told by western medicine practitioners that I would be a chronic pain clinic patient for the rest of my life. I felt in my heart that there was another way, and was introduced to this modality through a friend. I was amazed how the work was able to give me relief as well as aid a new positive mindset. Through Jin Shin Do®, I discovered a whole new me!
With this magical work I was able to get out of my head and into my body where my truth lives!

In 2008 I started taking Jin Shin Do® classes. Additionally, I worked part-time as a surgical technician and was raising two young daughters. Life was overwhelming and I found myself depleted and struggling. Jin Shin Do® paired with Traditional Chinese Medicine philosophies taught me the importance of self care. Now, I am completely pain free and live a more harmonious and fulfilled life.

Through my personal transformation, I realized I must share this work. I became a Registered Jin Shin Do® Acupressurist in 2012 and have been working in this field for over 10 years. I've gained immense knowledge working with individuals and guiding them on their personal journey. Healing Arts Acupressure provides a safe space for individuals to explore their own process while finding their own truth in their own time.

For many years I have felt as though my life purpose is to spread this message. I became n Authorized Jin shin Do® teacher in 2019. I look forward to offering classes so that this important work carries on!
